We do something in a similar spirit here in our little corner of flyover country. We try to live the example given in Acts 2:42. We adhere to the Apostles doctrine, we pray, we fellowship and break bread together. We do this because it's how the church is supposed to operate. God set it in order and Satan and the world had not yet had a chance to infiltrate it and corrupt it. The connection to the miraculous comes by observing Acts 2:43, where wonders and signs were done by the Apostles. I believe that if you get Acts 2:42 right, Acts 2:43 will follow naturally. God will confirm his word with signs and wonders when his church is living and operating the way it was designed. Good thought.
