Is Your Church Remarkable?

Remarkable: “worthy of being or likely to be noticed especially as being uncommon or extraordinaryMirriam Webster

Made up of a word and suffix:

  • remark-Are : comment or mention:
  • -able: capable of, fit for, or worthy of

So is your church worthy of people talking about? Now I am not speaking of sensationalism and hype. I am suggesting is it so different, being Christ like, that others will want to talk about it.

I just started the gospel of Mark from this perspective: How was Jesus’ ministry remarkable? In the first 2 chapters there is already four instances where people were talking about Him. He amazed them with His teaching and demonstrated spiritual authority. At one point, this resulted in crowds so large he could not enter a city. Remarkable!

It is my humble opinion, that when we as individuals, who are the church, begin to demonstrate Jesus in our daily lives and church services: then we will find that our churches have become Remarkable!
